Faith and Fire
Prayer
Honest speech in the presence of God
A four-part rhythm when words feel scattered.
Arrive
Begin with one minute of stillness. Name where you are physically and inwardly. Prayer does not require pretending to be elsewhere.
Speak plainly
Offer gratitude, confession, need, and concern for another person. Use ordinary words. Silence and tears can belong to the prayer without explanation.
Listen and act
Return to a short passage or remain quiet. Write the next act of obedience, repair, or service that becomes clear. Prayer continues when the body carries truth into the day.
