Moore Press website
The design reference contains broad claims about accounts, advertising, payment cards, tracking, and security. Those claims do not describe the current site. This candidate replaces them with a narrower account of the features now planned or being tested.
This working policy explains how the Moore Press public website review handles information. The hosted Contact form is present for operational testing; newsletter signup and purchasing remain inactive.
The policy will be updated as services are tested, approved, and activated.
The hosted Contact form collects your name, email address, subject, and message so Moore Press can respond. Submission delivery is currently being verified; do not include sensitive information.
If newsletter signup is activated, it will collect the email address and consent information needed to manage the subscription. If book purchasing is activated, the checkout provider will collect the information needed to process and fulfill the order.
When a hosted website is visited, the hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the site. Moore Press has not added an advertising or visitor-analytics service to the current website.
Information will be used only for the reason it was provided: responding to a message, sending a requested newsletter, processing or fulfilling a purchase, maintaining the website, preventing abuse, or meeting a legal obligation that applies to the service.
Moore Press will not use contact-form information to enroll someone in a newsletter without a separate signup choice.
Moore Press does not plan to sell or rent personal information. Limited information may be processed by providers that perform a requested website function. Netlify is the current public-review host and form processor. Sender is the selected newsletter provider but is not yet connected. Lulu Direct and Stripe are approved for future checkout but are not active.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the website or its visitors, or investigate misuse. Final provider terms and public contact details must be reviewed before launch.
Moore Press has not added advertising cookies or a visitor-analytics platform. Essential hosting or future checkout and newsletter providers may use cookies or comparable technology needed to operate their services. This section will be revised if the public site adds optional analytics or other nonessential tracking.
Moore Press intends to keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described here, required for an active transaction, or required by applicable law. A final retention schedule has not yet been approved.
Reasonable safeguards will be used, and selected providers maintain their own security programs. No method of internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
A working newsletter must include a way to unsubscribe in every email. You may also ask about information you previously submitted or request a correction or deletion where applicable. Exact response procedures and the public privacy contact are still being finalized.
Use the Contact page for ordinary website messages while delivery is being verified. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or account information through that form.
