Stillness

Make room beneath the noise

A grounded practice of quiet attention without striving for an empty mind.

Settle safely

Sit where you feel secure. Keep your eyes open if needed. Notice the support beneath you and allow breathing to remain natural.

Use a returning phrase

Choose a brief line such as “Here I am” or a short verse already known in context. When the mind wanders, return without accusation.

End with presence

After two to five minutes, name one thing you can see, one person you can serve, and one task that deserves full attention. Stillness should return us to life.
