Technology that remains in its place
A seven-day reset for attention, sleep, conversation, and deliberate use.
Reduce unchosen entry
Turn off alerts that do not represent a person or a true deadline. Move tempting apps away from the first screen. Charge the phone outside the bedroom when that is safe and practical.
Create protected places
Choose two: meals, prayer, reading, the first half-hour of morning, the last half-hour of night, or face-to-face conversation. Let those places become reliably device-light.
Replace before removing
A blank habit returns. Prepare the book, walk, notebook, call, music, or task that will occupy the recovered time. At the end of a week, notice mood, sleep, focus, and connection without demanding perfection.
